The Undertake Road Crash Rescue course is run over 3 days. This course will provide students with the fundamental skills to rescue individuals from a road traffic collision. You will learn the skills necessary to gain access to and extricate entrapped casualty/s from vehicles travelling on the road such as cars, motorcycles, buses, trucks and semi-trailers while minimising the potential for further injury and preserving the integrity of evidence.
This course provides responders to access entrapped casualty/s using a range of techniques and to operate specialist equipment to undertake the rescue.
Students who are deemed competent will receive a Statement of Attainment, which is recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework. This training is nationally recognised:
